Andrew Collins - Director and DISCOVERY StUDIO GUIDE

Like many on our team, i have had several different chapters of my journey that have led me here - from entrepreneurship to supporting young learners and school design to launching new learning ventures. The most profound experience is being a husband and father. I believe there is no better way to spend one’s life than to support the joyful flourishing of others and i love seeing my daughters grow in wonder and joy. My greatest passions in life are to love others, imagine new opportunities, and inspire people to be their best selves. phoenix has been my home for over 18 years and i am proud to support a community of brave and caring acton families.

anne-emmanuelle persil - PRIMARY GUIDEBonjour! I was born in Dijon, France, and as a young girl, I quickly learned the value of a great education, having observed my mother in a teaching and headmaster role at the local elementary school. I spent my time between school, ballet, piano lessons, and developed a deep interest in Opera, particularly Verdi, and Puccini. At University in France, I studied Musicology, Art History, and Archaeology to attempt to satisfy my appetite for learning. prior to joining acton I worked in a Reggio-Emiliano inspired school, that focused on self- expression, communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving, in a lead teacher role. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, spending time with my blended family, decorating my life with pink and glitter, and taking care of every animal in sight.
